Question CPU running 60*C idle with AIO

Hello!

I have a Ryzen 5 1600X. I don’t know if it normally runs at 60C idle and 75C when gaming. I currently have a CoolerMaster ML240L. I may of thought that the thermal paste was dried up so I applied some new Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste and the issue is the same. I do water going through the pump and have took off and put it back on. I found idle temps in the BIOS and gaming temps via. MSI Afterburner OSD.

some forms of temp monitoring for RYzen show a +23C offset for temps on some first gen Ryzens, if I am not mistaken, so if that were applicable, your 60C idle would really only be 37C....

For best and most accurate temperatures in Ryzen, use HW Info https://www.hwinfo.com/download/ and with "X" type of Ryzen, temperatures under CPU (Tdie) are right ones.
With that cooler, pump has to run full speed all the time. Connect to AiO😛ump header on the MB if it has it (they are not speed adjustable for that reason) or set it to full speed if you have to use any other header like CHA-Fan for instance.
