CPU is Ryzen 5 2600x. I did have a little difficulty installing the cooler that comes with the cpu. I couldn't get the screws to attach to the backplate without some considerable force and it did slide a bit over the cpu when I tried to attach it but since then its seemed fine.
I'm running Heaven benchmark and MSI Afterburner is reported the current cpu1 temp as 64 degrees and hwmonitor is saying its at around the same temp. Is coretemps just faulty? It says that at the moment that the temperature is 116 degrees but even when the computer was not at load and was just idle it said the cpu was at 100 degrees while the other software said about 50.
