I only used the asus bios ez oc witch took my 4ghz to 4.4ghz but I was getting to high temps for my liking at 100% load around 80-90 so I undid the over clock but cpuz and core temp both say its running at 4.4 still but the bios says only 4 so How do I fix this?

You are 99% on a core i7-4790K. That is called turbo boost. It brings your clock rate up if there is thermal headroom. Set the voltage to 1.23 static in BIOS. Try that. Stress testing causes the VCORE to skyrocket for no reason if it is on auto.
