I have a PC I built about a year ago and I've noticed it has started to run hotter then normal when gaming or doing intensive tasks/multitasking. When I first built the PC I overclocked the Processor from 3.8GHz to 4.2GHz and ran several stress tests with Prime95, one over night, with no errors and a max temp of 67. With it overclocked the highest temp I would see while gaming would be 60, but mostly staying between 45-55. Lately I've seen a couple peeks of 74 degrees, and while playing games the temp generally stays between 55-65. I cleaned out the dust, added another case fan, and removed my overclock, but I'm still seeing these higher temps. I'm thinking of modding the side panel and putting a 250 mm fan there, but I fear it won't help either. Is there anything else I should try? I'd prefer not to have to replace the cpu fan/heatsink.

Gigabyte AM3+ 760G Motherboard
AMD FX-4130 with a Gelid Solutions 80mm Hydro Dynamic CPU cooler
Diamond Multimedia AMD Radeon HD 7750
Two Cooler Master 80mm case fans, one in front, one in rear, both positve pressure
Coolermaster 525W Extreme II ATX Power Supply

Solution
1.Change the thermal paste. Get more valuable and expensive one.
2.Change the cooler. Dunno, try something like CM 212 Evo or TX3 Evo.
3.Check your case. Make sure the airflow is correctly adjusted.
also check to make sure everything is clean of dust. check your heat sink for your cpu, and your case fans.

and if you are using a liquid cooler for your cpu, check the radiator and make sure that is clean.
