Due to some issues with my new build, I've had to remove and reseat the cpu cooler from the cpu 2 times since mounting it 4 days ago.
When cleaning the sides of my cpu, a tiny piece (smaller than 1 pin on the cpu) came off the qtip and went onto one of the pins.
I was just wondering if the tiny piece of cotton could ignite or something and ruin my cpu if the temps get high enough, and if I should remove and reapply thermal paste?
(I have tried booting the pc with the cpu as it is right now, and it worked, but I haven't put it under heavy load yet)
