Question CPU scuff

Hey guys I was just wondering what this is on my brand new i3 10100? I just opened and just checked for anything and I noticed this out of the box? Would it still work if I installed it? I haven’t tried cleaning it because not sure how to even googling it not seeing a specific way to clean it. Thanks.

Drop the processor into the motherboard(without bending the pins on the CPU socket of the motherboard) alongside one stick of ram and see if the system allows you to POST and remain in BIOS. If so, the mark you're focused on is insignificant.

Yeah I’ll still give it a try this is my first pc build that’s why I was asking, I’m waiting for a motherboard to be restocked at a local micro center and just wanted to see if anyone had this or if it’s cleanable. Sadly it’s been over 15 days so if this was damaged out of the box I can’t return it to micro center and deal with the annoying warranty intel has I heard manufacturer warretny is a hassle. Idk why I decided to randomly open it just now and check but yeah lol it’s making me trip hard cuz I know this is a delicate area and even the slightest scuff can like make a pc not work or like just random shutdowns
