I added one pair of ram to my system to make it 32 g RAMs then it caused system running really slow. after i re seat the rams and aio. i noticed that the cpu speed stucked at 0.53ghz
stuff that i already tried:
re seat ram and aio
re install Windows
change power plan
reset bios
take off the new rams and run on the old ones
change intelppm in registry ( if i can the value to 1 the speed can be normal but the cpu usage is quite high)

during trouble shooting the cpu temp is around 35 degree

my system is running windows with ryzen 5800x and Asus b550 f wifi

thanks in advance

try starting with no ram and then put old ones back in, might make it retrain ram

adding extra ram to a system that already has ram can cause strange errors.

that won't do anything on an amd system, need to do the AMD version.
have latest bios?
yes i suspected the problem might be on the motherboard side so i did update the bios.

My 5950x /Asus X570 xxxxxxx was locked @ 4.0GHz until I updated the BIOS. Now it's a happy camper. But 530MHz is just a tad slow.

one fix I found was turn off fast startup - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html
which makes me wonder if its chipset drivers maybe?
https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/b550

this guy had to replace motherboard - https://community.amd.com/t5/processors/ryzen-7-5800x-all-cores-stuck-at-500mhz/td-p/500061
ryzen master might help

might need to reset cmos
tried everything u mentioned again. looks like imma need a new motherboard :(
