first time using this site.
I have recently started to have a few issues with my cpu. My CPU randomly spikes when doing anything. It goes from 1 percent to 10-90 percent when having nothing open. When playing games its about the same but starts from about 40 percent. It lags games, i have over 150 fps, so i know its not my GPU.
I have tried re-installing the operating system and still no luck. I have recently upgraded my hard drives to a SSD for the OS and a hard drive for applications and games, hoping it would solve/help with the issue, but still the issue has not been fixed.
I have also checked the temps and if any applications are using up all the CPU and nothing is.
Before this started happing I had no issues with it. But a few months before this issue 2 of my ram slots did stop working. This happened after i moved my computer from a different country.
My CPU is a intel i5, the desktop is about 2 years old.
Could it possible be the motherboard?
Any help/advice would be great.
