I recently got a lenovo legion 5 pro i7 14650hx 4060, and randomly while gaming and keeping HWINFO up, I'd see my max temperatures on cores 1 and 3 reaching 99c and 100c so I kept an eye and noticed that they're spiking to that for a second before going back to normal, it only happens with these certain cores as well whkle being on balanced mode with ai, I ran cinebench full core test and haven't reached anything more than 83c so I'm not sure.

Do you have another piece of software open that also can tell your CPU temp? Sometimes that can cause some weird readings as they conflict.

But yeah for a laptop with a 24 thread CPU that can boost up to 5.2ghz, yeah thats gonna happen, you can repaste the CPU, would involve tearing the laptop a part somewhat, but that probably wont help a lot, as long as it don't sit at 100C on all cores consistently like during gaming or stress testing, peaking to 100C on a core here and there is not going to hurt anything at all, thats probably the cores that aggressively boost to 5.2ghz with light loads. Thats a lot to pack in a tiny laptop CPU with not much room for cooling it. So I honestly wouldn't worry.

Good Luck!
