[SOLVED] CPU stays on after screen goes black after shut down

I have justed changed my psu , and facing this problem then when i ever i shutdown my pc the screen goes black like a normal shutdown but cpu is power on cpu fans gpu fans motherboard led all are on ? some times it shout down normally like a normal shutdown ? what can be the problem ? it has some thing to do with the psu ?my old psu never gave me this problem is this psu issue ?

i have changed power supply recently after that my computer is not shutting down , screen goes black like a normal shut down but cpu remains on all fans are on power light is on , some times it shut down properly , i have installed new windows tried all software settings , reset my bios as well please give a solution , i am not my computer guy have connected my wirings properly ? or can it be caused by a psu fault ? as new psu is a used one

i was facing problem of random restart during playing games , its only 2 days after psu changed but i am not facing that problem uptill now but its now some time shutting down some times its not shutting down

DO a memtest of your ram. If you have more than one stick of ram use only one stick at a time when running the test. This way you can find which stick is bad if any.

recently i have changed my ram as well 2 ram slots are not working , only 2 ram slots are working both ram are working fine

I don't think swapping the PSU out was a bad idea....but I question whether the PSU you swapped it with is good.

as far stability is concerned i used system non stop for 6 hours and also did gaming and run benchmark softwaers to put stress on psu no problem occured but on shutdown it is causing problem

Well....I think this is a good sign the PSU functions like a PSU and I wouldn't be very concerned about it as far as operation.

.....but as far as it shutting down....in general, the motherboard sends a signal to the PSU to shut down.....and if it's not shutting down I would think it's either the PSU or the motherboard.....and being you just swapped PSUs I have to blame the PSU.
