CPU Stress Test: Temperature Threshold Exceeded. Need help.

I downloaded Burnintest v8 Trial today and ran "Maximum CPU Temperature" test.

For the first few seconds, it ran good but after that, it displays "Temperature Threshold Exceeded" and all of them falls in critical category. What to do?

for 7 days yes and you have read right if the cpu reaches 105 temp then it gives signal to the motherboard to shutdown i will say lower your gfx a bit and dont give too much stress on the cpu if it heats up that much ...if u already have the aftermarket cooler and u cannot install it because of your case clearance then there is 1 option keep open the side panel and install the cooler........ its just for 7 days so will be okk .....

buy a better cooler?

are u using an aftermarket cooler ???if not pls do if you are stress testing your cpu ....or playing games or overclocking your cpu...

I have an aftermarket cooler but couldn't fit in as the top of the cooler touches the cpu case i.e., I need to buy a bigger cabin than the current one. I have spent much already for my gaming computer. I need some rest for at least a week. Can I use this stock cooler for my gaming pc for next 7 days?

Don't do the burn in test with a stock cooler!
