CPU support ?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the asus m5a97 le r2.0 will support the FX 6300 without a bios update as I don't have an older AMD processor

that will depend on the bios edition it comes with. the info you are looking for can be found on the asus web site.

as long as the board comes with bios 1006 or higher it will support that CPU.
