Hello,

I'm willing to buy Core i5-10400F CPU + 3060 TI Nvidia GPU, I understand that even with a high-speed RAM the CPU has its own limit "about 2600mhz" and it's just a waste of money buying a high-speed ram while it supports 2600mhz.

My question is, why when I check out benchmarks with the same specs and only the ram is changing, I notice better overall performance?

I'm so confused by the moment, I've decided already to go with 16GB 3200mhz CL16, but this thing isn't making any sense.

PS. the motherboard will support +3000mhz.

Solution
There is a FPS difference when you go for higher speed RAM. It's just not a big difference when you go from let's say 3200MHz to 3600MHz. It could be like 0 fps difference in some titles and like 5 fps difference in others.

When you go from 2133MHz or 2400MHz to 3200MHz or 3600MHz then you can see a good difference.

Get that 3200MHz RAM Kit and you will be fine. No 2400MHz RAM.

Thank you so much for your reply.

can I ask you which is better? 3600mhz cl18 OR 3200mhz cl16
(i know that both of them got latency of 10 nanoseconds) + they are the same exact price.
Rn I'm confused if should I buy the 3600mhz cl18 over the other one.
