[SOLVED] CPU taken out for cleaning, now GPU will not work

Hello Everyone,

Today, I took my 9900kf out to clean off the old thermal paste for a new coat and to clean the fins on my heatsink. After reinstalling everything, my GPU is disabled. This is the same issue I had when I switched from the 9900k to the 9900kf but I cannot remember what I did to correct this. I thought it was a simple key combination that told my motherboard to use the GPU instead of the onboard graphics (that the kf does not have).

My setup:

Z390 Aorus Master
I9 9900kf
Aorus 1080 GTX
32g DDR4 3200
Samsung EVO m.2
Corsair 750x

I know all of the equipment works because I was using it this morning. Also, the computer and all of the components has been running for an hour, on and off, with no display. This leads me to believe that there is no short.

I have reset the Cmos already.

Any ideas are very welcome.

I fixed it.

All I had to do was take the video card out of the computer and boot. Then, shut the computer off, reinstall the video card, and reboot.

I doubt I will forget how to fix this in the future.
