So im wondering what a good cpu temp would be while gaming
Right now its ranging from 68 to high 70's the max its ever been was 85 degrees celsius from what HWmonitor says.

I have a intel i5 4690 3.5 ghz

I know my fan is dirty and i need to clean that this weekend but whats a the temp you do not want to exceed.

Your processor is definitely overheating, it should stay below 65°C for safe usage while gaming. Just to be sure, this is a desktop right? Also you might want to try CPU-Z to check the temperature just to be certain. You should also really get down to cleaning not only the cpu fan but the entire inside of your case. You definitely do not want to go beyond 70°C.

Yes its a desktop. Im not really good with computers and taking them apart know of any good youtube videos? I did put this one together so im not completely dumb when it comes to it. Also how many fans would you recommend and im guessing because i live in florida its hotter here it doesnt make it any better.

Could the issue be i only have one fan aswell and its the one that came with the case. whats another good rear exhaust fan to get i only have one in the front for intake
