Question Cpu temp increasing, causing computer to crash.

I have applied thermal paste, fans work, and have been checking temp through core temp but downloaded ryzen master. Have had computer for a year.

I have an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 six core processor. What do you mean by specs? Also idle temp is in the 50s, I start using internet or play league tft and it goes to 80s or 90s temp.

CPU, GPU, memory, motherboard, PSU, case, CPU cooling and fans too, since problems are temp related.

hmmm...how did you come by this computer? did you not build it? these forums are mostly DIY'ers who buy the parts and build it themselves, so they know what's in it.

You can start with a utility called HWInfo64, it's somewhat overpowering but it will show you what's inside your computer as best it can. It won't know your case or fans or cooling, or PSU, you'll have to open it up and look inside and the PSU data label to tell us that.

You might also post some pictures of the outside and inside. People recognize what's what.

But the place to start is to reset CMOS to erase any settings that could be making temps go crazy. You have to refer to the motherboard manual to know how to do that.

If you're not familiar with computers, you may have not gotten the CPU cooler on tight and flat on the top of the CPU. You need to check that.
