As u can see my core temperatures are between 51-55 at Idle condition and they go above 70 c during gaming like apex legends etc...
Please guide me is it normal or i need to apply thermal paste or something...One thing more i don't have any cooler right now.THANX

Then those idle temperatures are not bad. As long as you are usually under 80C and not over 85C you are okay -- so those stress tests indicate that you are running 5 degrees or so too high for regular use. Either use better CPU cooling or find a way to col the room -- perhaps a good fan.

So those temperatures are fine, I assume that is not the idle temperature though, as it would be a little high for those unless in a hot room (high ambient temperature). Idle temps should be 35-40C ish.

I played with a Core i5 3570 (a bit faster than yours) at over 73°C (usually temps never went over 77°C and this was on very cpu demanding games) for years and the cpu still working fine!

(This was with stock cooler, nver used an aftermarket cooler with it).

The things I can think about it to try and make it a bit better:

  1. Clean the dust and dirt from inside your case, specially all the heatsinks and coolers (this has to be done with extreme carefull, the PC turn OFF and unplugged from the wall).
  2. After cleaning every fan and specially the CPU cooler, only if you know how to do it, clean the old one form the Cooler and the CPU and reapply new thermal paste (something like Arctic Cooling MX-4 or DeepCool Z9).

I played with a Core i5 3570 (a bit faster than yours) at over 73°C (usually temps never went over 77°C and this was on very cpu demanding games) for years and the cpu still working fine!

(This was with stock cooler, nver used an aftermarket cooler with it).

the thing i was using i5 3570 a month ago but it got fried due to spilling of water by my maid...
then i couldn't find 3570 anywhere and had to choose 3470...
Could u please state the difference b/w stock cooler and aftermarket cooler...(I'm totally a noob in this field)
And one more you're telling me to clean CPU cooler although i don't have one.Are u talking about any built-in cooler or am i missing something?

That says everything relevant. From clock speeds, you really aren't pushing the cpu to its limits, whatever you are doing isn't using much core power by necessity, so it's not at idle, but neither is it under extreme loads, or all clock speeds would be pegged to 3.6GHz±.

Power 00 : package power, you are only using 20w out of the 70ish watts that cpu is capable of. Meaning if you do start pushing high power usage through that cpu, it's going to far exceed the @ 54°C it's currently at. With your current cooler, I'd not be surprised at temps closer to 90's.

The best way for sure is to run Prime95 small fft. That's an 100% cpu load, the worst possible temp your cpu will ever see from any game. If the cpu can stay somewhere in the mid 80's, you are fine. If the cpu goes beyond 90's then you need a better cpu cooler.
