So i just bough a new laptop, and im very impressed so far. I mainly bought it for working purposes (programming), but also I do like play CSGO sometimes.

What i see is that on cable plugged in, the CPU temp can go as high as 79-82C while playing CSGO. Is this a danger, or should i just be relaxed?

Solution
Yes, completely normal. Ryzen chips with thermal throttle at 105 degrees. 80 degrees is getting up there, but it won't sustain any damage. Just like the GPU, it will begin to throttle well before any actual damage occurs.
Nvidia cards are capable of running well above 80 degrees; this is perfectly normal behavior. It will begin to throttle long before anything is damaged if worst comes to worst. Nvidia GPU's typically throttle around 105 or so. You have nothing to worry about. If you start to see it hanging around 90 degrees or so, you might want to ensure nothing is blocking airflow. Give it some breathing room. Hope this helped, take care.

Thank you for answer! But did i write something wronge? the nvidia GPU is somewhere between 40-55C, which is allright. I am talking about the CPU here (AMD Ryzen™ 5 7640HS)
