CPU Temp reaches around 45-60C when uploading photos

I uploaded about 120 raw photos to Adobe Lightroom, it spiked my Core i7-4790k processor around 45-60C. I wasn't sure if that's normal (concerned about it reaching over 55c really) since its just uploading photos so i thought I'd ask.

Overall, it is always around 32c when idle. Haven't tested video rendering yet.

There are many factors that control the temperature

It also depends on the ambient temperature in your room...

Besides when you said your importing raw pictures that means the pictures are being processed first and then imported in turn cpu utilization which obviously ramps up the clock of cpu hence the heat and temps rising but if your idle temps are 31 and while working on light room ur temps are 45 max or etc its all good until it goes beyond 80, 80 is the topmost ballpark figure and at no time this should cross it..

Yeah I live in Southern Cal and at the time I posted this, it was pretty hot. Like around 85-90 degrees f. And my room doesn't get the best ventilation so its like 10% hotter lol
