CPU: AMD FX6300
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050TI
RAM: 16 Gig
Case: CyberpowerPC Thermaltake??? (name on the front)

Sorry if this is not all the info needed. I am not new to pc gaming but the "tech specs" is still kinda new to me. Anyway here is the scenario. All the games I play run pretty well. Good fps with no stutters or issues. Recently I started playing Conan Exiles and while playing it I get random 5-20 second freezes with a little sound distortion. Started researching and think that my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU (still not sure because again I am new to this). So I started playing with my resource monitor showing on screen and when the freezes happen the CPU and GPU both flatline until in unfreezes. So I downloaded MSI afterburner to run while playing trying to get more info. GPU runs at about 80% and 45 degrees celsius while the CPU sits around 50-60% with 40-50 degrees celsius. Then the freeze happens and everything stays the same except the CPU temp which spikes to 180+ degrees celsius. I have good airflow in the case with both front and back fans working. At times the CPU fan makes an unhealthy sound but never stops running. I am ordering a new CPU with a beast cooler tomorrow but am unsure if it will solve the problem. Can anyone help please?
