So 67-68c under full load while gaming on ultra is safe? That doesn't feel safe to me. I think my X6 1100T's max temps are 62C. I have my CPU OC'ed to 3.7MHz with stock heatsink and fan, never gets past 56C I think.
so what do u suggest i should do.....ambient temp is like 28-33c...
If you're getting around 67-68C while gaming full load, that's already too high with ambient temps like 28-33C....so I would get rid of the stock cooler and get some air or liquid coolings. The H100i of 212+ Evo is something I'm going to have to get. I can't OC my cpu without it.
someone(in other forum said) that i dont need a aftermarket cooler if i'm not going to overclock
The main reason why you're getting a HIGH C of 67-68C is b/c AC Unity is ridiculously demanding of the CPU, as it's a TRUE next-gen game that uses a true next-gen engine, BF4, not so much, but it will still use a great deal as you have seen.
If you want to be safe and not worry about those dangerous temps, since you don't want to run at 67-68C for too long with your CPU (or at least I wouldn't) and you're not CO'ing, I'd get an aftermarket cooler just to keep the CPU down and THEN OC to get that extra push, if need be.
We don't want your CPU burning up now,
😀.
And as iggy684 said with that link he posted, you shouldn't be going over 72C...but that doesn't mean you should be running it that hot all the time, either. You want to keep it as cool as possible at all time to extend it's life and the life of your motherboard.
