CPU temperature error

So my pc said to shutdown and update and so I did but after that I booted up again and after the asus logo it took me straight to the bios and after I pressed save and restart is said CPU tempreture error, any suggestions.

check if your cpu cooler working or not cpu temp error means its overheating and it has to shut down the nexttime you boot it will take you to bios

But it has been working for 6 months It can't just stop working from a update
