Hi guys i recently build a pc and i am running intel i7 7700k kaby lake cpu. Dont mind me i am really new at this. The first few day my idle temp was 32 34 now this week it up to mid 50. I dont know if this would cause the problem so last week when i power my.monitor on the pc would detect them but since installing the drive i havent had that problem. But my pc idle at mid 50 now any hint on what it could be ?

You might have changed some system settings (such as power management) which increases the load on your CPU, or perhaps you accidentally set your CPU to run at a higher hertz rate than before through the BIOS or another program. One thing you should check is if all your fans are working correctly, if your CPU fan is installed correctly and if you have sufficient airflow to your system.

Also, since you've said you're new to building PC's, you might not have applied thermal paste to your CPU properly, which is a very important part of managing core temperatures. If so, go buy some from your nearest hardware store, I recommend Arctic Silver but generally any will do the trick. Then remove your CPU fan and apply a pea-sized drop of...
