I just built a PC and ran a Prime95 Small FFT. My idle temperatures are 32 degrees Celsius. However, on running the test, temperatures increased to 99 degrees celsius. I'm using a i5-6600K with a CoolerMaster MasterLiquid Pro 240 cooler. Motherboard is MSi Z270 Gaming M5. Pump is running at 2700RPM and the fans are also running at 2100 RPM. I've reseated the heat sink as well but to no avail. Please help.

Hmmm..Idles at 30's seems a bit of, should be mid 20's unless you live somewhere hot..dipperftw is correct on the version of Prime95 so try that first. If that fails, definitly recheck your mounting for the cooler. I'm running a 6700K all cores 4.4Ghz and right at this moment my temps are fluctuating between 19 and 21 degrees at Idle and on Prime95 65 degrees to 70 degrees max..though I live in London and the temp outside is 17 degrees at the moment. I am using a 360 radiator AIO watecooler though.
You gotta use the 26.6 version of Prime95. Version 26.6 gives a much more realistic load and it should decrease your temps by alot. What are your gaming temps? I own a h100i and I had the same problem. I just remounted the pump a few times and It fixed my problem. Now I get 70-72c at max load.
