CPU Temperature is 80 Degrees (c) Is it too hot?

Okay, so idle its 33 Degrees (c) but when i play batman arkham origins on medium to high settings it reaches 80 Degrees!?! Is this too high, or is it normal? I have had my pc for 4 weeks.

My Specs:
CPU - i7 3770
GPU - GTX 760
RAM - DDR3 2x4 GB
CASE - SHARKOON ( HAS GREEN LIGHTS ) AND 3 FANS
CPU FAN: COOLER MASTER 212 EVO

Is there something wrong, i did get them (computerplanet) to apply the termal paste, (artic silver i think)

You should be in the range of the 50s and 60s (depending on ambient temp) under full load - stress test. Reapply heatsink and change the paste.

Either the HSF is not mounted correctly, airflow through the case and around the CPU is insufficient or not arranged correctly.

The HSF's fan should be blowing either towards the back of the PC with a case fan blowing that air out the case or blowing up with a top case fan blowing that air out the top. If the case is missing those exhaust fans or the HSF's fan is in the wrong orientation, the 212 re-ingests a significant quantity of hot air and that can degrade its effectiveness.

Ok, i think it was due to the software being used. Now using core 10, getting temperatures of 45 degrees. Which is perfectly fine. Thanks invalid
