CPU temperature is very high

So, I downloaded NZXT CAM software, and I realized that the temps are too high. They are above 100 celsius! I just noticed that.. My case isn't hot at all even when my computer has been on for few hours, but my CPU is super hot.. I dont know if the software is liying or not, but holy shit. My CPU is AMD A8-5600k.
What's the problem, and how to fix this?

Probably a reading error, AMD CPUs often have problems to read out the correct temperature. Normal temperature would be ~50°C. If you want to make sure, check the surface with a thermometer.

got the same CPU with Cooler Master Hyper TX3 for cooling, having 50 degrees on idle . This only started a few days ago 🙁

You should maybe try a different monitoring program like CPUID HWmonitor to see if it gives the same reading .

I tried the AI Suite 2 from Asus I tried Speccy , HW Monitor and a couple of others. The weird part is that AI Suite 2 is telling me that the CPU is at 36 degrees but all the other programs are telling me 49-50.....

I cant even download AI Suite because i upgraded to windows 10 :/

Well the 36°C are much more realistic for idle temps.

I regard those temperatures with some suspicion ,could be the CPU sensor is faulty.
Try touching the heatsink if the CPU is that hot then the heatsink will also be very hot.
Also make sure the heatsink is not loose and that the fan is moving air.
