Hey guys, hopping someone can help me with my temp problem.
So I recently did a new Ryzen build and my CPU temps have been odd. I've tried using all sorts of different temp measurement software and at idle they all give me temps around 17c sometimes fluctuating to 25c and back, and under a stress test they measure between 30-33c. Whereas in my BIOS idle temps are about 30c. Does this behavior sound normal at all?? I would be very grateful if anyone could help. Thanks in advance.
Running ryzen 1700 @ 3.2GHz, wraith spire cooler, and asus rog crosshair vi hero mobo.
EDIT: After a while of ignoring it and running CPU intensive programs, my CPU overheated and my computer crashed a few times. Then I tried installing Amd overdrive twice and after each time it corrupted my windows 10 and I had to do a full wipe of the system.
