Been having problems with cpu temperature, especially now that it's summer here, Can't really play anything, I had my thermal paste replaced less than 6 months ago, so I've ruled that out. I tried to finding out what kind of fan I have but the best I can tell from looking at it is that it's an Intel fan. Any advice is appreciated.

Solution
with the intel stock fan it uses plastic push pins and legs. a lot of times the push pin or clamp goes bad cuasing the cpu cooler not to be sitting tight on the cpu chip. i would look at your local pc shops and online to find a cpu cooler that uses a metal back plate and or screws to hold in down to the cpu. the evo 212 is not bad for the price but it 160mm hight some cases wont take a tall cooler.

I did a measurement of the case, from the motherboard to the side of the case and it's just over 160mm. I'm gonna look into some more options for fans. Thanks for your help.
