CPU Temperature to high when browsing

Hello!

I noticed when I am streaming YouTube videos or on Twitch watching livestreams, my CPU temp sometimes goes up to 50c (122 F). Is this normal?

MSI H110M PRO-D (MS-7996)
Intel Core i5 6600
NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Well, you did not mention what type of cooling you use on your cpu. However 50c is nothing to worry about. Sure it is a little warm but that cpu can handle a lot more heat.

If you play games, try monitoring the temps then see what they are. Anything below 70c is good, though it can actually go into the low 80c without doing any damage.

I have no added cooler, just the default.

If that is the case your ok. Since you can't overclock that cpu I would not worry about it.

Yeah, I usually keep an eye out on it while gamming, most of the time it stays below 70c. Though I don't play super CPU intensive games.
