Hello !

I'm currently having overheating problems and i think i might have to change a new cooler
and get a new thermal paste. i'm not sure if this is the symptoms of over heating - random occurrences and every few seconds computer slows down and noise distortion.

i have SS the reading taken from speedfan : https://imageshack.com/i/naou98j

My specs as follows :
Processor - Intel Core i5 2500K
MOBO - MAXIMUS V GENE
RAM - DDR3 4GB SAMSUNG
GPU - Raedon HD 3600 Series ( swapped out with my current gpu)
PSU - Antec 850W

Thank you !

Solution
Check in task manager to be sure nothing is running your resources into the ground.

If nothings being used up majorly, would try to dust it out outside and if this don't work, repast the CPU

No problem. Also make sure to check the thermal paste as mentioned before, but unless you've your cooler off without reapplying it before, it should be okay, but would be prudent to check anyway.
