CPU temperatures going up and down?

Hi,
My problem is that my CPU temperatures are fluctuating anywhere from 40 degrees celcius to 74 degrees celcius in less than 2 seconds. By two seconds i really mean ONLY JUST 2 seconds tops. No exaggeration - at all! This is really driving me crazy. The laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 710 14IKB, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd, i7-7500u, Full HD 14" display.

I have tried EVERYTHING to fix this problem and now im pretty sure that it's a manufacturers defect. But i need to be sure, before i return the laptop for repair. IS this normal in any way? I know that Lenovo has a lot of complains about fan noise in some yoga models,

Nope, not at all normal. Seems like the TIM has been poorly applied. Better get it replaced or repaired.

Don't you think it's a sensor? Because the temperature goes up and down quickly, it doesn't just overheat.

Could be either. Usually those sensors are seldom wrong.
