CPU Temps Jumping Like Crazy

Right at this moment in time im trying to overclock my ii4 but I cant do it very safely with the temps jumping like they are and im pretty sure its not normal. Right so when i use a monitoring program like hwmonitor or coretemp my CPU temps will be stable at like say 45 then all of a sudden it jumps to like 114, 225 etc. and I know its not true else my PC would be exploding.
Anyone else have this problem or know a possible solution?

Yea that's all I could see fitting the situation. I'm guessing the BIOS must be reading different if the fans ain't picking up when hwmonitor is reading 255?

Maybe try updating your mobo's bios to the latest, stable revision?
