Hi

I have a i7-7700HQ 4 core processor with GTX 1070 8GB Graphics, while idling the CPU stays around 40-45 degrees, whilst websufing these temperatures climb to 55-65 degrees, my room gets pretty hot throughout the day id say above room temperature.

Are these temps a cause for concern if they are is there anything I can do

Thankyou

Not to worry.
The processor will slow down or shut off if it detects a dangerous temperature.
That is about 100c.

Normally, idle temperatures should be in the 10-15c. range for a desktop.
On a laptop, perhaps more.
Under heavy load 75c. is ok.

What to do to help?

1. Check for dust accumulation in the cooling airflow path.
2. When not playing games, use the integrated graphics adapter.
3. There are laptop cooling pads available.
I do not know how effective they are.

Hi, Yes I have an Asus scar edition laptop, the temps for CPU and GPU go up to 80 degrees while gaming in ultra settings, is this okay or should I try to lower, thankyou for your help!

Being a laptop, should I be concerned at 80 degrees while gaming in ultra for 1 hour
