Hi there
I've just noticed that when visiting certain websites, my CPU temperatures seem to skyrocket to about 70-80 degrees celsius. I've turned hardware acceleration on and off and it's made no difference.
I've just recently replaced the thermal paste on my CPU so I checked to make sure the heatsink is on correctly and it appears to be. Most websites are fine and even when I'm gaming the CPU only heats up to around the 55-60 degree mark.
This has got me completely stumped. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is it possible malware on the website that is confusing my temp monitoring programs or something random like that? I use MSI Afterburner and Speccy.
Thanks
DL
