Cpu Temps Skyrocketing

It seems that every time I play a game, my frame rates seem to dip. This was ticking me off, so I decided to do some monitoring to see what the problem was. I stress tested it with high-demanding games such as Dying Light and GTA 5. I took a look at the CPU temps and it seems every time my frames dip, the temps on the cpu will skyrocket all the way to 206C from 50-60C. I have no idea why this is happening, and I figured that the software may be reading it wrong, but I've tried multiple softwares and they say the exact same thing. I have no clue as to why the temps just suddenly skyrocket all the way to 206C whenever frames dip. If anybody could, that'd be great.

Specs:

AMD-FX 8300 @3.3GHz (Unoverclocked)
GTX 960 4GB (Unoverclocked)
650 watt psu
8GB RAM
760GM-P23(FX) (MS-7641) Motherboard
1TB HDD

Solution
Ok lets look at it this way 206c your cpu would be dead normally a cpu shouldnt be going high at all even under heavy stress if you have sufficient cooling what i would do foremost is check if your cpu fan is currently connected at all or working because the fact that it reached 206c if you do a google search of that temp that is = to an oven and your cpu would be dead so either your fan is broken and your cpu is in danger of breaking or already broken or the program is not updated 100% and misguiding you in temps.

**most cpu max operatiion temperatures is 105c so it would of had to shut itself down going too much higher then that, which is why im thinking the program your monitoring with is faulty.
