Hello!

So I just started watercooling my cpu with a closed liquid cooling and this is my first time liquid cooling and after I booted up I checked The temps and the temps would always go from 38C to 49C. So I wanna ask, is my cpu temp normal?

Specs:
CPU: i7-3770
Water Cooler: NZXT Kraken X31
GPU:Sapphire R9 270X Vapor X
MOBO:Gigabyte G1 Sniper M3
Storage:240 SSD & 1 TB HDD
PSU: Aerocool KCAS 700W 80 Plus Bronze

Solution
Those temps are fine. Liquid cooling generally doesn't provide much, if any better temperatures than with a good air cooler, but as long as you're staying below maybe 80c under typical usage, your CPU will likely outlast every other component in your system. Throttle temperature is 105c for your CPU, and shutdown to prevent damage is at 130c.

Solution
Your temps will rely on many factors, ambient temperature, clock, voltage. 38 - 49 sounds like a decent temp, but without knowing a lot more about the situation it's hard to tell. Is the 38 at idle, the 49 at load? What's the ambient temp, the room temp so to speak... It is normal for the temp to momentarily bounce around even at idle, windows is always up to something sneaky... Which version of windows are you running? Linux, what are you using to check temps?
