Okay so a few days ago my PC randomly shut off on me and I was wondering why, and when I started it back up I realized all the fans were blaringly loud so I figured it was a temperature issue but I wasn't really sure.
Well it happened a few more times so I decided to monitor the temps with core temp and the shit scared me.
It said core#0 was at 67c and the min max was at ~55c and 79c which seems really horrible.
The question is, is that like dangerously bad? I have a Hyper 212 Evo but the case I use has size restrictions and I can't install it. I plan on buying a new case in the next few weeks but for the time being would it be okay to install the hyper 212 evo with the side panel removed? I can do that and probably avoid any debris getting into the case but that worries me having it open. Even now at idle (other then chrome) its fluctuating at ~42c and isn'e going below 39 or so.
