I recently built my first PC; I have been playing games and running 4, 5 apps while recording/streaming and playing at 144hz / 1080p on overwatch at medium graphics settings / I also played monster hunter for 45 min or so at highish settings and both games yield higher temps for my CPU than I thought it would. (Around 77-81 degrees Celsius)

I am running a GTX 1070ti, MSI X470 gaming pro, Ryzen 5 2600 w/ stock cooler, with 16GB of 3200mhz of ram that I have gotten up to 2933mhz. I don't overclock

My case has 1 back, 1 top exhaust fans / 2 fans on the front.

Here are some numbers from HW Monitor (They are the same as my MSI Command Center Numbers) while running monster hunter today for about a hour.

System: 40 degrees Celsius
PCH: 46 degrees Celsius
MOS: 55 degrees Celsius
CPU: 81 degrees Celsius

These numbers were while just listening to spotify and running monster hunter (at medium/high graphics at 1080p). No streaming or anything.

System Fans (120mm) hovered around 1800rpm and my cpu fan was pretty much maxed out at 1979rpm.

I normally like to stream and run overwatch at medium graphics at 1080p at 144hz which yields CPU temps of usually around 78-80.

Not sure if these temps are higher than normal. I feel like they are since I am getting 80 degrees while just running monster hunter...

Also my voltages:

VCore: 1.296
RAM: 1.36
CPU NB/Soc: 1.152 at 3.575 GHZ

And my GPU sits at around 60 degrees Celsius; its maxed around 66.

Solution
81 is fine but I would recommend getter a after market cooler. If you don’t want to spend $120 on a radiator a cryorig h7 or similar heat sinks are available.
