I am replacing my CPU's thermal paste, and i got my hands on a probably less-known paste,
"Dow corning 340 - heat sink compound"
the box has no actual details regarding the thermal conductivity, or any thing really.
however, i found their website and the product's page here,
where it states that the thermal conductivity is 0.67.
on the other hand i found Arctic cooling MX-4 to have 8.5
could Dow Corning's be 6.7 instead of 0.67, or is it really 0.67 (and therefor i assume it is not useable.)
thanks!
