I have a 2600x and it sits at around 4-4.1ish ghz at all times but when I launch Apex Legends it goes down to 3.6 GHz. I tried to manually OC it to 4 but whatever is causing the throttling overrides it. It doesn't do it in any other games and it's not like it gradually goes down. As soon as I launch Apex, within a few seconds it's like some kind of profile registers and it goes down all at once. My PC stays around 40c according to ryzen master.
My GPU is a rx 580 and there aren't any profiles in it that I can tell either.
