Question CPU throttling to 800 mhz while running games

It happened after I updated windows before leaving home. When I got home I uninstalled the updates because I assumed thats what was making my cpu go to 800 mhz. It was working for a while and then the same problem occurred.

I recently got new parts which included the 10700 locked processor, MSI MPG Z490 Pro Gaming and the arctic freezer 34 duo cooler. My computer was running perfect for just over a week up until now any ideas on what to do to fix it?

What is the cpu temperature when in game? That cpu cooler is a bit weak for that cpu.

The temps remain the same around 30-45 degrees Celsius still fairly cool, this is after 10 minutes of running at 800 mhz

Fans spin up a bit faster but not much faster than they normally do. Temps while running valorant which is the game im playing currently sit around 30-45 degrees or so after around 10- 20 minutes while running at 800 mhz
