Cpu to hot?

Hey everyone,

I just installed today my new FX 6300.
My question is, my CPU fan spinning around 5000RPM is that normal? In this room its around 25-30 Celcius.

Temps;

CPUTIN 47 Celcius on idle

AMD FX 6300 cores 31Celcius on idle

Are these normal temps? because i'm little worried.

Those are fine temps, you probably need to manually lower the RPMs on that fan.

Use AMD OverDrive to accurately determine the **Thermal Margin** of your CPU. Verify that your motherboard is not 'over-volting' your CPU as you check your temps under stress testing.

Use the Smart Fan profiles in your BIOS to regulate fan speeds.
