+1 to this, if you prefer AMD then I'd recommend the FX 8320 (no point spending out on the higher FX chips as they are the same CPU just overclocked and as all FX are unlocked all you need to push it faster is a good cooler).
The i5 will be faster in games than the FX, however an 8320 is a pretty good all round processor and is really cheap at the moment so it's a good buy on a tight budget.
