I have a crappy, and old 2nd Gen. i7-2670QM, ranks like #317 on pasmarks site.w.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php]pasmarks site[/url].
So was looking at the XBOX ONE CPU, here.
What does 2 x 2 MB 16-way associative shared cache mean?
I can't find anything like that on Ark.Intel.com. They're like Xeon processors for thousands of dollars.
I understand it's a custom CPU made by AMD, for Microsoft, but..
I'd like to know if the PCSx2 would be nice with the 6700k or the 4790k. I like the 4790k more because it's 4.0 - 4.4Ghz, while the 6700k is a little more expensive, and slightly higher score on passmarks list.. Will it be good enough to run the PCSx2 and beat the XBOX ONE CPU?
The 6700k, 4 x 256 KB 4-way set associative caches.. for L2 cache.. that's lower than the XBOX ONE, because the XBOX ONE has 2x 2MB 16-way.
