CPU tool still in pc

Hi guys! I have built a pc a couple months ago and came across this pc build guide from Techsource, where he built a gaming pc and he put the cpu in, whereafter the cpu tool (plastic thing) jumped/clicked off. I can't remember that my cpu tool did that. I really think it's still in there. Is this bad? Should I remove it? The manual was not that clear, so I thought it would be okay, because I saw a shadow in the cpu bracket and thought that was the tool.

CPU: i5 6600k
Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

Nevermind, I got it! Asus uses this tool (which can be kept inside), so people won't bend any pins.
