Does a Dell Dimension 5150 have a 64-bit cpu or a 32-bit cpu?

what is your processor's model name/number? if you don't know, check your system settings or system information from control panel or run a monitoring program like cpuid's cpu-z.

from google search it looks like the 5150 has pentium 4 prescott cpu - 32-bit.
