Hello , I just bought a brand new CPU , not used , AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and it is really underperforming , i get much lower fps in games than i should...
My pc specs:

GPU : GTX 1050ti 4gb
Memory: 8GB CORSAIR VENGANCE 3000 mhz
Motherboard: B450M PRO4
PSU: CX 550
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600

Please help , it is really bothering me that its underperforming
Thanks!

Solution
Its 1x8gb , so u think that is causing me lower fps and stuff ?
Your gpu is fine just as well as your cpu and PSU
Your ram can differ from 3% all the way up to 30% in games fps.
Example i have an i5 7th gen and gtx 1660
Tried forza 3 with 8 gb ram i got stutters and lags and low fps , tried it with 16 gb ram (must be 8x2) and it is really stable on 95 or 100+ fps on high settings.
So work to get another 8gb ram next

8Gb ram just isn't enough these days my dude especially if its just 1x8 not 4x2..the videos you saw online maybe had 4x2 or a 16gb ram (8x2) because 1 ram differs a lot from 2.

I say the 1050ti is holding you back somewhat though. I had one paired with a 1050ti for a while. It felt like 1600 was a race car engine and that the the 1050ti was holding it back. That was my feeling at the time. Now I have a 3600 with a gtx 1070 and am fairly happy for now.
