Is the price difference worth the upgrade or is it compatible

Hi. Yes you can replace your i5-3450 with the i5-3570K but you won't be able to overclock it with your current motherboard. But if you're willing to replace your motherboard and really want to overclock, then go for it. But if you're not, then it's not really worth it since you already have a very capable processor.
