I was recommended a Ryzen 5 2200G or a Ryzen 5 1600x

My ideal motherboard will be a: Asus ROG Strix B350-F

I would like to know, why these options other than the obvious "Price for its buck."

Also whats the significant differences between the two products?

I would like to start streaming soon such games like fortnite, and love gaming every other day.

Thanks in advance!

well the 2200g is a 4core APU-a decent processor with average graphics capabilities. The 1600(x) was probably the most disruptive cpu the market had seen in years. A 6 core/12 thread cpu at an amazing price range had everyone's interest. If I had to choose between just those 2 I would go for the 1600, non X, as it probably would be a tad cheaper, performs/overclocks at the same rate the 1600x would and it comes with a quite decent stock cooler.

If you are open to suggestions perhaps have a look at the 2600 range-Just like its predecessor, the 1600, its an amazing price to performance cpu. If you are open to going for an intel one the i5 8400 is also something to consider.
