Hey there, I'll be short. This is what I have atm:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 850
RAM: 8 GB
Video Card: HD Radeon 7870
1 TB Hard Drive
PSU: Chieftec A-80 CTG-500-80P 500W
Motherboard: Asrock 970 Pro3 with AM3+ Socket.

My problem is this, i am thinking of changing my CPU to an FX 8350 and I was wondering if my Motherboard/PSU would support it, cause I know it eats a bit more power than other CPUs and I was wondering if my 500w PSU would support it. Thanks in advance.

Solution
You would be better going with the fx6300.
It requires less power,it should be substantially cheaper,at stock its close to the 8350 for gaming.
Overclocked it can actually do better (& with minimal temp/voltage increase)

if the PSU is over 2 years old I suggest replacement ASAP. I will not ever suggest using a PSU out of warranty.
that is not the most robust unit, granted its just an extra 30W, I suggest replacement before risking any new hardware with it.

That Chieftec is pretty solid unit and 2 years is not old. I have one (but 550w) 8 years now and pushing FX 8350 system at 4.9 GHz. That's not the problem in this case, bigger problem may be MB itself, not very good VRM and may have problems with 8 core processor. I'd suggest FX 8320e instead if you desperately need 8 cores or FX 6350 if 6 cores would be enough.

FX8xxx is no longer exactly a good choice.
How much are you planing to pay for that FX8xxx? If you have to pay more than €100 (about 400 ron, if you are from Romania), I would rather recommend that you simply leave your PC as it is and start planing to build a complete new PC.

It's about 80 euro, i just need it to run for a few months cause after that I'm going to work in Germany and I'll buy a whole other PC. I need a better CPU to play some newer games while I'm still in the country, after that I'll buy a rocket PC when i come back from Germany.

hmmm...about €80 sounds not so bad.
It is your call.
It should be theoretically compatible with your current PC.
It is just that the mobo does not have a really good VRM (already mentioned above by CountMike). It might have issues with normal FX8xxx but if you are lucky, it could work normally too.
It is a gamble.
Perhaps you would really take a look at those FX8xxxe or FX6xxx, while trying to keep below €100.
